Business Education: Hiring Outside the Box: Employing People with Developmental Disabilities

This session will focus on hiring individuals with developmental disabilities.  As an employer, learn more about the numerous benefits and supports available and why it is just smart business to consider this underutilized talent pool.

From shifting job requirements to building creative partnerships, some employers are finding innovative ways to attract, train, and retain talent. This session spotlights real-world examples of Nashua-based organizations that have helped employers expand their recruitment pipelines through nontraditional hiring and workforce development strategies. Learn how best to identify untapped talent, adapt your onboarding and training, and build a more resilient workforce, including takeaway ideas you can adapt to your own organization.
