Navigating the Americans with Disabilities Act & the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act

SHRM Greater Nashua's November meeting includes Guest Speaker Adam Hamel, a director in McLane Middleton's Litigation Department and vice chair of the firm's Employment Law Practice Group. Adam will improve HR professionals' understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act. We’ll start with a brief overview of the requirements of each law and then apply that knowledge to several real-world examples illustrating how employers can address challenging situations involving employees and candidates. Finally, we’ll talk about some best practices that employers can use to ensure compliance with these laws.
