About Us
Bishop Guertin, a private, coeducational, Catholic, college preparatory high school offers a demanding curriculum of college prep, honors and advanced placement courses. With required courses in English, Social Studies, Religion, Mathematics, Science, Foreign Language, Physical Education, Fine Arts and Technology, plus an array of electives, BG challenges its students to grow to their full potential. Founded in 1963 by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, Bishop Guertin High School continues their tradition of educating the whole person: spirit, soul, mind, body and heart. BG believes that community is an essential element of education. As a whole the school strives to support one other and achieve the greatest personal and collective potential. Parents, guardians, students, faculty, staff and coaches, all play a significant role in the education of each Bishop Guertin student. It is hard to name it - it is the BG Experience.
