About Us

The dedicated team of counselors, therapists and youth development professionals here at The Youth Council leave youth feeling seen, heard and understood. A nonprofit community resource for Greater Nashua since 1974, we specialize in programs centered on youth guidance and counseling.

Our mission is empowering youth, families, and the Greater Nashua community to reach their goals and potential through accountability and supportive services. We offer mental health counseling, student assistance, substance use prevention education, and juvenile court diversion.

Our evidence-based programs are tailored to promote healthy decision making and influence positive behavior for youth. These supportive services extend to families, as well, because we believe in order to have an emotionally thriving child it takes a collective effort. We are here to support that.
